MY DAY JOB
I am currently a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at MIT. The focus of my research is on the development of electron microscopy schemes which are not detrimental to biological specimens.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography has been my hobby for many years. I carry my camera anywhere I go and as a result, I'm bound to take a few decent pictures here or there. I don't have a particular style of photography. I once heard a famous photographer say "hopefully the picture is more interesting than what I photographed." I share the same hope.

I used to shoot on a Nikon D5100. I switched to a Fujifilm x-t20 and a few months ago to a Fujifilm x-t3.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The first person who encouraged me to take pictures and post them online was my cousin, Keyvan, whose photography (chelipagram) has been a constant source of inspiration to me.

My friends and colleagues (Emily in particular) are often the only human subjects I have access to and can use as models. I thank them for putting up with having a camera in their faces whenever we go for a drink.
